What is Spravato® (Esketamine)?
Spravato® is an FDA-approved nasal spray for adults living with treatment-resistant depression (TRD) or major depressive disorder (MDD) with suicidal thoughts. Administered under clinical supervision, it works through a different mechanism than standard antidepressants, and it's the only ketamine-based therapy covered by most major insurance plans.

Spravato® is FDA-approved as a standalone treatment or alongside an oral antidepressant for adults diagnosed with:
Treatment-Resistant Depression (TRD)
Depression that does not respond to two or more antidepressant medications.
Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) + Suicidality
Depression with acute suicidal ideation or behavior.

Spravato® Treatment at Journey Clinical
Our Spravato® program involves a comprehensive evaluation with a Journey Clinical clincian to determine eligibility, followed by the recommended Spravato® protocol.
• Interventional Psychiatry Consultation (60 mins - telehealth)
• Spravato® Sessions (2 hours - in person / in clinic)
Patient self-administers intranasal spray under the supervision of a Journey Clinical Clincian. Patients are continuously monitored for two hours afterwards and you’ll be lying down in a comfortable position during the experience.
